The Pile Of The Unfinished/ Spring 2019 / Former Students Victoria BC

35.00

When: Thursday, May 2nd 6:30 pm to 8:45 pm.

Where: Katy’s home studio in James Bay . *You will receive an email with the address.

*Prerequisite: For this course, you must have taken a previous workshop with Katy (Contemporary Embroidery, or similar courses)

This is a special and experimental Club / Workshop for former students who participated before in Contemporary Embroidery or any other of Katy’s classes.

The 'Pile of the Unfinished' is a special workshop created to kick procrastination and finish off your creative work from that big pile of unfinished projects. We will review some techniques, dust off in-complete projects and re-ignite our fire to start working again on these once exciting ideas. Harnessing a lot of inspiration by Steven Pressfield's “The War of Art” to collectively understand what's stopping us and overcoming that resistance to complete that which feels so good to finish.

Includes: Yarns, threads, needles for embroidery, acrylic paints, watercolors to share, brushes and also some appies and refreshments to enjoy.

What you need to bring: Your pile of unfinished creative projects made in Katy’s workshops or your own embroidery or painting projects. Hopefully it's not a huge pile lol.
